At Hutiwai Conservation Area, possums, goats and pigs are hunted.

Makino Conservation Area
Comprised of steep hill country that drains into Waitara River, Makino Conservation Area receives use from trampers, mountain bikers and hunters. Possums, goats and pigs are hunted in the area.

Matirangi Conservation Area
Possums, goats and pigs are hunted in the Matirangi Conservation Area. Because there is no public access, to enter you must make arrangements with adjoining landowners.

Mohakatino Conservation Area
Mohakatino Conservation Area encompasses the catchment of Purupuru Stream. Possums, goats and pigs are hunted here.

Mokau River
There are a series of reserves along the Mokau River where possums, goats and pigs are hunted.

Moki Conservation Area
Moki Conservation Area is comprised of steep hill country that forms the headwaters of the Waitara River. Possums, goats and pigs are hunted here.

Mt Messenger Conservation Area
Possums, goats and pigs are hunted at Mt Messenger Conservation Area.

Pehu Scenic Reserve
Located on a steep hill, Pehu Scenic Reserve receives low use. Possums, goats and pigs are hunted in the reserve.

Pouiatoa Conservation Area
There are a high number of goats and possums in the Pouiatoa Conservation Area. The reserve contains steep hill country that drains into the Waitara and Urenui rivers.

Rerekino Conservation Area
Rerekino Conservation Area encompasses very steep hill country that drains into the Waitara and Urenui rivers. Possums, goats and pigs are hunted here.

Tangarakau Scenic Reserve
The Tangarakau Scenic Reserve is a large tract of steep country on the eastern side of the Tangarakau Gorge. Possums, goats and pigs are hunted here.

Tangitu Area
The Tangitu Area includes Tangitu Conservation Area and the adjoining Uruti and Miro scenic reserves. Possums, goats and pigs are hunted here.

Taramoukou Conservation Area
Possums, goats and pigs are hunted in the Taramoukou Conservation Area. The area is formed by a series of ridges up from the Onaero River.

Tarata Conservation Area
Possums and goats are hunted in the Tarata Conservation Area.

Waitaanga Conservation Area
Waitaanga Conservation Area is made up of diverse forest from steep rugged gorges to flat plateau country in the north. Possums, goats and pigs are hunted in the area.

Whitecliffs Conservation Area
Possums, goats and pigs are hunted in the Whitecliffs Conservation Area. High sandstone cliffs feature in this area.
