CROMWELL GOLF COURSE
The Cromwell Golf Course sits comfortably on land similar to that of the famous Melbourne
sand belt. The combination of the expansive rolling dunes of the front nine and the more

The rustic remains of the farm live on in Millbrook's restored buildings and the avenue of trees that still welcomes visitors just as it did 150 years ago.In the sombre years of World War One, the land around Millbrook was transformed into a tent city - a hospital for the injured Kiwi soldiers returning from Europe. Here, they were nurtured by the natural amphitheatre of Millbrook - the soothing majesty of the mountains helping to heal body and soul.In the 1930s the aroma of the bootlegger's brew was carried in the air of a Millbrook night as the prohibition years rolled by.After World War Two the land was returned to its farming roots.
